Job overview

We're seeking strong and curious Content Producers to join our remote team in the Philippines. This role is suited to a writer who is comfortable getting across complex subjects quickly and turning technical, financial or industry-specific information into clear, engaging content.

You'll be employed by CH Media Inc. (Content Hacker) and work day to day with our Sydney content and creative services team.

You'll write and manage content across formats — from thought leadership articles, reports and case studies to landing pages, EDMs, social copy and digital campaigns — for B2B clients across industries including fintech, SaaS, technology, engineering, financial services and professional services.

We're particularly interested in candidates with a background in journalism, B2B content, financial or business writing, or experience working with brands in complex industries. You should be confident researching unfamiliar topics, interviewing subject matter experts and executives, interrogating source material, and translating specialist information into compelling stories for business audiences.

This is a great fit for someone with 3–7 years of writing experience who combines strong editorial instincts with commercial awareness and can move comfortably between long-form storytelling and concise campaign copy.

Key responsibilities

  • B2B content creation: Write, edit and proofread high-quality content across formats including thought leadership articles, reports, case studies, executive content, landing pages, EDMs, LinkedIn ads, social copy, infographics and digital campaign assets.
  • Complex subject matter: Research and write confidently about complex industries and topics, including fintech, SaaS, technology, financial services, AI and enterprise business challenges.
  • Research and story development: Review research reports, transcripts, client materials and industry sources to identify compelling insights, angles and narratives.
  • Thought leadership: Help develop strong points of view and editorial narratives that demonstrate industry expertise rather than simply promoting products or services.
  • Editorial excellence: Apply strong editorial judgement to ensure content is accurate, well-structured, concise and appropriate for the intended audience, while maintaining consistency with client brand and tone of voice.
  • Ideation and campaign support: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and work with strategists, editors and creatives to develop content ideas that support broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Performance-aware content: Understand how content needs to adapt across channels and audience stages, from in-depth editorial content to performance-focused digital copy.
  • SEO integration: Apply SEO principles and keyword research where relevant while maintaining natural, audience-first writing. Awareness of answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) principles is a plus.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with Content Leads, Content Managers, strategists and designers to ensure message hierarchy, tone and creative execution are aligned.
  • Multitasking and delivery: Manage multiple clients, briefs and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and a high standard of polish.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–7 years' experience writing and producing content, preferably within a content, digital, or creative agency environment.
  • Writing ability: A proven track record of writing compelling copy for digital channels, with the ability to shift tone across formats and audiences.
  • Technical fluency
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content formats (especially LinkedIn Ads, Google Display Network, SEO and EDMs)
    • Familiarity with content performance tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Comfortable working in CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
    • Proficient with Google Workspace, Canva, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (basic level for layout and design collaboration)
  • Soft skills: Highly organised, deadline-driven, and adaptable — with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a remote work environment.
  • Home office setup: Must have a reliable home office with high-speed internet to support remote collaboration and digital content production.
  • Continuous learning and curiosity: Passion for staying up to date with evolving content formats, tools, distribution platforms, and storytelling techniques — always looking for smarter, sharper ways to create and deliver content.

What we're looking for

You don't need to be an expert in every industry we work with. You do need to be the kind of writer who wants to understand how things work and why they matter.

You might currently be a journalist covering business or technology, a B2B content writer working with SaaS or fintech brands, a writer within a financial services organisation, or an agency content producer experienced in tackling complex briefs.

The strongest candidates will be able to show examples of work that demonstrate rigorous research, clear thinking, strong storytelling and an ability to make complicated subjects interesting and easy to understand.

Who you’ll work with

You'll join a dedicated Content Hacker team working with our team in Sydney, so you go deep on one brand rather than juggling accounts. You're a Content Hacker employee throughout: contract, pay, benefits, government contributions and career path all sit with us, and so does your team lead. Day to day you work alongside the client's content and creative team. We'll name the client when we talk — at the screening call, before any assessment.
