Job overview

We're looking for a talented and versatile Multimedia Artist with a strong graphic design background to join our growing creative team. This is a remote role based in the Philippines, working closely with our Sydney content and creative services team, and is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.

You'll be employed by CH Media Inc. (Content Hacker) and work day to day with that Sydney team.

You'll be responsible for creating high-quality visual content across digital and print formats, with a particular focus on graphic design, editorial design and campaign creative. From reports, eBooks and presentations to social media assets, infographics and digital campaigns, you'll bring ideas and content to life through thoughtful, polished design.

You'll also support the team with basic video editing and motion graphics when required, working across different clients, brands and formats to deliver creative that supports strategic marketing objectives and connects with target audiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Graphic design: Design high-quality creative across a range of digital and print formats, including social media assets, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, eBooks, reports, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, infographics and other branded content.
  • Editorial and long-form design: Design and format multi-page content such as reports, eBooks and publications, using strong typography, layout, grids, hierarchy and information design to create engaging and easy-to-navigate content.
  • Digital campaign design: Develop campaign creative across multiple channels and formats, adapting master creative into social, display, EDM, web and other digital assets while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Presentation design: Design polished, engaging and on-brand presentations and pitch decks, translating content and ideas into clear visual narratives.
  • Infographics and data visualisation: Translate research, statistics and complex information into clear, visually engaging infographics, charts, diagrams and other visual storytelling formats.
  • Creative concept development: Collaborate with content, creative and client teams to interpret briefs, develop visual concepts and bring campaign and content ideas to life.
  • Brand application: Work confidently across multiple client brands and visual identities, interpreting and applying brand guidelines consistently across different formats and channels.
  • Design adaptation and production: Resize, version, localise and adapt existing creative for different platforms, markets and specifications while maintaining a high standard of design and production quality.
  • Video editing and motion graphics: Support multimedia projects with basic video editing and motion design, including social video cutdowns, captions, transitions, simple text animation and other light motion graphics.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with our Sydney-based content, creative and client teams across time zones to deliver integrated campaigns and meet project deadlines.
  • Project management: Manage multiple creative projects and competing priorities from brief through to delivery, ensuring work is accurate, on brand and delivered on time.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4–7 years' experience in a graphic design, multimedia design or similar role, preferably within a creative, content, marketing or digital agency environment.
  • Creative portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design across digital and print, including examples of editorial or long-form design, campaign assets, social creative, presentations and brand-led design. Experience in video or motion graphics is desirable but does not need to be the primary focus of the portfolio.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to create polished, production-ready creative across multiple formats.
  • Figma: Strong working knowledge of Figma, including experience working with components, shared libraries, templates and collaborative design workflows.
  • Design fundamentals: Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, colour, grids and information design.
  • Editorial design: Strong experience designing multi-page documents and working with long-form content, with excellent attention to typography, consistency and detail.
  • Video and motion: Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects for basic video editing, social cutdowns and simple motion graphics.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to understand the purpose and audience behind a brief and align creative work with content strategy, marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Attention to detail: Strong eye for typography, alignment, spacing, consistency, image quality and production requirements, with the ability to quality-check work before delivery.
  • Communication skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive, reliable and responsive approach to remote work.
  • Time management: Comfortable managing multiple briefs, clients, deadlines and rounds of feedback while maintaining a high standard of creative output.
  • Continuous learning: Passion for keeping up to date with graphic design, digital design, platform trends and emerging creative tools and technologies.
  • Home office setup: Must have access to a reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet to support daily remote work and real-time collaboration.

Bonus skills (nice to have)

  • Experience designing for B2B, technology or professional services brands
  • Experience creating reports, research-led content, eBooks and thought leadership assets
  • Advanced PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation design skills
  • Experience with Frame.io, Canva or other collaborative creative tools
  • Experience in light animation or motion graphics
  • Photography or videography experience
  • Experience preparing artwork for print production
  • Familiarity with accessibility and digital design best practices
  • Experience working with creative teams across different markets or time zones
